[Soks] User reaction: edit page button/link mixture

FWIW, another piece of input: My officemate, Bill Wood, was confused by the things at the bottom of context text window on the edit view: [Submit] (Do not Save) or (Delete) this page. The [submit] is a form button while the other two are parenthetical links. He said that he was initially confused as to what the parenthetical links were supposed to mean. For instance, he thought they were somehow explaining the [submit] button. In his mind, if they could all be rendered as buttons or all rendered as links^1, their intent and function would have been clearer to him. Regards, -- Bil Kleb http://fun3d.larc.nasa.gov ^1 Although buttons are probably better due to people's familiarity with web forms and their ubiquitous "buttons". _______________________________________________ Soks-discuss mailing list Soks-discuss@rubyforge.org http://rubyforge.org/mailman/listinfo/soks-discuss
